Wraparound Care
We are delighted to be able to offer full wraparound care for children in Reception to Year 6. If you would like your child to attend, please see below for further information about what we can offer at Buckingham Park Primary School. The easy booking and payment system will make it simple for you to organise your childcare.
Breakfast Club
Breakfast Club enables parents and carers to drop their child at school from 7:45am. Children attending the club will be offered breakfast, which includes a number of healthy options - cereal, fresh fruit, toast, milk and juice. Breakfast will be a sociable time with small groups of children sitting together, developing their social skills and encouraging a calm start to the school day.
Additionally, a number of activities will be on offer for the children before the start of the school day, i.e. drawing, Lego, opportunities to complete homework and outdoor play.
Breakfast Club is supervised by our own school staff and the fees are as follows:
7:45pm - 8:40pm - £5.00 per child, per session
For further information or to book a place at Breakfast Club, please click on the tab below or collect a form from the school office.
Little Ducklings After School Club
Little Ducklings is a club that the school provides as emergency supervision on either an ad hoc basis for those parents who are unable to collect at 3:15pm due to an emergency, such as traffic hold ups or family emergencies, or for use on a regular basis due to work commitments.
Parents and carers may phone the school office in advance or on the day to book a place for their child. If you want to book for regular sessions, a booking form is available below or you are welcome to collect one from the school office.
Little Ducklings is supervised by our own school staff and the fees are as follows:
3:15pm - 3:30pm - £2.50 per child, per session
3:15pm - 4:00pm - £4.50 per child, per session
3:15pm - 4:30pm - £6.50 per child, per session
The Childcare Club
The after school Child Care Club takes place at the end of the school day until 6pm.
It is an external provider who are dedicated to involving the children at every level; each child has the opportunity to be involved in activity planning, choosing equipment, deciding on snack menus, decorating displays and setting up the room.
Children are actively encouraged to discuss preferences for types of activities and equipment, and this information is used to ensure they are doing all they can to make the children's time there fun and enjoyable.
Younger children are collected from their classrooms by a member of staff and escorted to the club room.
Children may still attend school clubs that are on-site and they will either be collected by Child Care Club staff or brought to the club room by a member of the school staff.
