Remote Learning
The temporary provisions in the Coronavirus Act 2020 expired on 24 March 2022. As a result, the Remote Education (England) Temporary Continuity (No.2) direction no longer has effect.
Remote learning will only ever be considered as a short-term measure and as a last resort where in person attendance is not possible.
All home learning will be via Google Classroom. If children are absent due to illness, they are not expected to complete home learning.

Our methods of communication include:
- The school website
- Parent/carer email
- Parent/carer text
- Google Classroom
- Parent/carer telephone
- Letters, including newsletters
- Social media, i.e. Facebook
All video clips uploaded using Google Classroom will be vetted by the member of staff setting the home learning and will be age appropriate.
School staff will only contact via email, text or telephone during normal school hours (8am-5pm). They are not expected to respond to emails after 5pm or at weekends unlesss in an emergency situation.
