Safeguarding
Safeguarding and Child Protection is extremely important here at Buckingham Park Primary School. We are completely committed to providing a safe and secure environment for our children, staff and visitors.
Our aim is to safeguard and promote the welfare of children by encouraging a culture in which everyone feels confident about sharing any and all concerns they may have about their own safety and wellbeing, or the safety and wellbeing of others.

Our Designated Safeguarding Team
Sometimes we may need to share information and work in partnership with other agencies when there are concerns about a child's welfare. We will ensure that our concerns about a child are discussed with their parent/carer first; however, this is not always possible if we have reason to believe that such a move would put a child at risk.
We actively support the Government's Prevent Agenda to counter radicalism and extremism. All staff undergo regular Child Protection training.
If you are worried about a child, please seek advice from the website below or contact the school - use this email address to contact a member of the safeguarding team directly: dsl@buckinghampark.co.uk. We will be able to support you through your concerns and explain the referral process.
