Trip to Lewes Castle
On 22nd September Year 2 visited Lewes Castle, as part of our Turrets and Tiaras topic.
We explored the castle and found out a lot about the local area. Do you know why the king had the entrance built so wide? It was to allow the horse and carriages to pass through on their way to market!
We listened to a story about three knights and a big bad dragon! It was similar to a story we had heard before - can you guess what it is?
We all had a fantastic time at Lewes Castle!
Look at the clothes we tried on when we explored the tower.
The museum was full of exciting artifacts, dating all the way back to the Stone Ages!
