Herstmonceux Science Observatory Centre

As part of our 'Stargazers' topic in the Autumn term, Year 5 visited the Observatory Science Centre in Herstmonceux. While at the science centre we were able to observe one of  the incredible telescopes and see how the roof retracts for its use. We also undertook a range of hands-on scientific activities, looking at the refraction of light, flow of water and air pressure.
